Product Configuration
In product configuration, the configurator is used to visualize the range of variants in a product line or family. All design-related and commercial parameters are defined on the basis of a product-specific rule set. The entire product know-how is thus compiled in the configurator, which presents it much like an electronic catalog.
The quotation process itself is automated and standardized, which results in enormous savings in the RFQ phase. This in turn enhances throughput and makes your company more profitable. At the same time, rapid submission of a customer-specific quotation gives you an edge over competitors.
