Symposium ‘Knowledge Based Engineering Design’

Knowledge-Based Engineering Design – Invitation to Symposium at FH Vorarlberg

Exchange of ideas & practical experiences in using and implementing knowledge-based engineering and design automation solutions.

The successful development and marketing of engineering products encompasses an interplay between technology, product development processes, business processes, suppliers, stakeholders, the people developing the products as well as consumers of the products. High competition in local and global markets pushes developers and solution providers to constantly search for efficient solutions to meet customer and market demands. As a consequence, collaboration within and beyond the enterprise becomes a necessity.

Joins us at the Fachhochschule Vorarlberg on February 20 to share ideas and practical experiences in using and implementing knowledge-based engineering and design automation solutions in industry and academia to meet these challenging demands. The day will comprise short talks (English and German), hands-on demonstrations on solutions as well as critical discussions with the key European players in this field!

The Lino Team will be available for individual demonstrations in the accompanying exhibition and will explain the technology and portfolio of the Lino® 3D configuration solution in the following 30-minute presentation:

Data structures and implementation using SOLIDWORKS® and the Lino® 3D client as examples
