Webinar – News for Tacton Modelers from TDA Studio and TC Studio

Invitation to the webinar “News for Tacton modelers from TDA Studio and TC Studio” on June 17, 2021.

We last covered what’s new in Tacton modeling tools in 2019 at the Design & Sales Automation Conference (DSAK). In the meantime, Tacton has not been idle and has consistently developed these products. So it’s high time to inform about the features and improvements that have been made since then; this time, however, due to the current circumstances, in the context of a webinar.

Using many practical examples, we will show new functions and major as well as minor enhancements for both Tacton Design Automation Studio and Tacton Configurator Studio. In the course of this, we will also answer any questions you may have.

Among others, the following examples will be shown:

  • New mapping types for holes created with the Hole Wizard
  • Controlling tolerances in 3D models
  • “Skip Dimension Update” – omitting dimension updates in certain cases
  • Use of float values in named domains
  • The “$complement” feature value for table completion
  • Reading SolidWorks file properties for use in the Tacton model
  • “Included Context” – a practical method for reusing Tacton models of subcomponents

When? Where? How?

Wednesday, June 17, 2021, from 10:30-11:15 a.m., live presentation via GoToMeeting.
Access data will be provided to you via email shortly before the meeting.

Look forward to an overview of the major changes to TDA Studio and TC Studio!
