Tyrolit relies on the Lino® Hub integration platform to digitize its manufacturing processes. The results are remarkable. By seamlessly connecting CAD, CAM, and ERP systems, manual interventions were eliminated. Process reliability increased and production times reduced significantly.
Tyrolit introduced a highly automated machining center requiring consistent, automatically generated CAM data. Only then could it realize its full potential. Together with Lino GmbH, a digital process chain was implemented: from customer requirements through configuration and design to CAM programming.
“Today, we generate complete 3D and manufacturing data at the push of a button – without any media breaks,” reports Florian Zitt, Process Engineer at Tyrolit. The solution enables flexible, cost-effective production even for the smallest batch sizes. Automation reduces the engineering workload – a decisive advantage given the skilled worker shortage.
Lino Hub integrates SAP® S/4HANA® with Lino® Automate, providing all production-relevant data automatically. Tyrolit now generates CAM programs fully automated. As a result, the Schwaz site now serves as a model for the company’s other plants.
