Lino GmbH
The Mainz-based specialist for 3D configuration solutions for the end-to-end automation of business processes in the manufacturing industry, Lino GmbH, has significantly expanded the range of applications for its 3D web visualization solution, Lino 3D web. In combination with the newly developed Lino Hub integration platform, the solution can now be used as an independent, parametric 3D visualization tool for product configuration in sales, project planning, and web shops, as an interactive online product configurator on the web, or together with existing CRM and ERP systems. Lino’s English product pages describe exactly this expanded positioning of Lino 3D web in combination with Lino Hub.

End customers as well as sales and project teams use Lino Hub 3D Web for quoting, configuration, design, and the presentation of sophisticated industrial products. At present, direct integrations are available with Tacton CPQ, Cosling, SAP CPQ, and SAP variant tables, for example to display Solidworks 3D models, prices, and additional information on the web. Further connections to other configurators and system integrations are available on request. These integration options are explicitly listed in Lino’s published product descriptions.

Real parametric models in a web view make it possible to display all variants in 3D during configuration, even for complex models. The Solidworks export automatically converts geometry into web format, including the Solidworks standard materials used for realistic rendering. CAD data, drawings, and exchange formats such as STEP files can also be generated automatically and made available for download. Lino’s product materials describe Lino 3D web as a parametric web visualization tool for complex industrial products with CAD-connected outputs.

Lino Hub 3D Web offers real-time 3D visualization and allows users to rotate, zoom, and pan the 3D geometry view to display their desired product. Thanks to state-of-the-art web visualization technology with customizable environments and adjustable lighting conditions, the system creates a highly detailed representation of products. An integrated screenshot function also allows results to be saved easily as image files. These capabilities align with Lino’s published description of the product as a parametric, web-based 3D visualization tool for product configuration and presentation.

Lino Hub 3D Web ensures plugin-free 3D display in all WebGL-capable web browsers. In addition, the 3D viewer can be easily embedded into corporate portals or web shops. Lino’s English-language materials and video transcript specifically state that the solution works without browser plugins and is designed for modern web use.
