Lino Automate is a flexible and highly customizable standard software for the simple automation of recurring work steps in a CAD system in combination with Tacton Design Automation and for the bidirectional exchange of information with PDM/PLM/ERP systems or databases.
The software is highly scalable, so that small, medium-sized and large companies alike can benefit from process automation. Process sequences can be defined without programming knowledge using intelligent semantics.
The self-created process sequences are called action lists. Each action list can consist of several actions. The process flow can be controlled via flexible conditions. The action lists can be triggered either directly from the CAD system‘s user interface or indirectly via external systems.

A wide range of optional function modules are available for the basic version (Core) (PDM, ERP, DB, encryption, server). With its function modules, Lino Automate enables the audit-proof storage of CAD designs and the recognition and avoidance of duplicates.
CAD data already contains relevant metadata for the ERP system. Lino Automate automatically transfers the information and combines it for the end-to-end integration of various processes, and also offers the option of encrypting configuration rules.

Lino® Automate PDM
Lino® Automate PDM is designed to integrate Tacton Design Automation with various PDM/PLM systems. The integration tool is currently provided with adapters for four PDM systems (SOLIDWORKS PDM, PRO.FILE, keytech PLM, SAP PLM). The functional scope in the area of document creation is different for all adapters.

Lino® Automate Databases
This option is a generic and database-independent interface. Information can be read from database tables and new table entries can be created. The database option can be used alone or together with other options such as PDM, ERP and encryption.

The encryption function enables companies to protect their intellectual property in configuration models. Encrypting the configuration ruleset ensures that sensitive data can be managed securely.
